My journey into childcare

I have always wanted to work with children, embarking on my childcare journey straight from school. My greatest joy comes from watching children grow and develop, reaching new milestones every day. This unwavering passion led me to establish Lisa's Childminding, where I can provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young minds.

What makes Lisa's childminding unique?

Being a childminder at Lisa's allows for small, focused learning experiences, ensuring each child receives individual attention while enjoying fun activities with others. Our learning is guided by Ofsted requirements and rigorously follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, guaranteeing a high standard of care and education. Parents can expect their children to thrive in a structured yet playful environment.

My professional background and skills

My dedication to childcare began immediately after school, where I pursued college studies in the field. I hold a CCE and NNEB in childcare, and started my career as a nursery nurse. Furthering my expertise, I successfully obtained a HLTA qualification, enabling me to teach within Early Years settings. With 25 years of experience working in a school nursery, I genuinely enjoy every single day, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a nurturing approach to Lisa's Childminding.
